We strive to improve and update our facilities whenever possible. In 2012 we opened our Canter Track – a specially sown grass track around a 100 acre field. It’s proved invaluable for interval training and fitness work, as well as just a fabulous place to have a canter on really good going. We also refurbished our owners' kitchen and introduced the now infamous Bacon Sunday – coffee and bacon rolls for everyone on Sunday morning!
In 2013 we installed full width mirrors in the Outdoor School and opened our Laundry - offering a full laundry service for summer sheets, lightweight stable rugs, saddle cloths, and boots etc. In 2014 we built the Lunge Pen. Purposefully made on a 20m circle it is ideal for lungeing, ridden work and in-hand work. Floodlit, and surfaced with "Flexiride" from Equestrian Direct, it has been an invaluable addition allowing us to work the horses even in the coldest of winters when other surfaces might freeze. In 2015 we installed an Equine Hotwash enabling horses to be bathed etc. with warm water summer and winter.
Our facilities and services also include: Large, airy stables Floodlit 20 x 60 manege with the Equestrian Direct “Turfloat” surface topped with "Flexiride" and full width mirrors Qualified, experienced and truly dedicated staff 25 acres of all year turnout (individual or paired) Miles of private and bridleway hacking in beautiful countryside Laundry service Secure tack rooms Comprehensive worming programme Attendance for vets, farriers etc Stallion paddocks Clipping service Show preparation Rug washing, repairs and storage Flat work lessons Show jumping lessons Saddle checking/fitting
Holiday Livery If you are planning a holiday or short break and are worried about who will take care of your horse, why not send him or her to us for a holiday of their own. They will enjoy a break being turned out every day, or kept in work and fit for your return. Either way, you will have the peace of mind that they are safe and happy.
Rehabilitation Livery If your horse is recovering from an injury or illness and a busy schedule is making the rehab difficult, let us help. If it’s box rest we’ll make sure they receive attention throughout the day with regular forage intervals, grooming and an Equissage session (if appropriate). Or, if it’s small pen turn out, walking in hand, poultice/dressing changes or regular medication, we can help you through this difficult and sometimes stressful period.
For both holiday and rehabilitation livery we will tailor a service that best suits you and your horse’s needs.
